I’ve got a similar problem.
A) added taxonomy via ACF (set to show MetaBox)
B) added custom post type via ACF
Problem is: no categories meta box when the REST Api is off for the taxonomy.
Why do we need the REST Api of the taxonomy to show the meta box in the edit screen?
I still have this problem with custom Gutenberg blocks!
searched the forums and removed “date_default_timezone_set” from theme.
checked the rest of the setup. seems to fix the problem.
Checked the whole setup for “date_default_timezone_set” and removed them.
Problem still occurs in the date picker.
Have the same problem. Opened a ticket.
Did you get any feedback/help on this?
For me a major bug.
It gets even more weird, look at the month of the date picker and the corresponding source code
functions.php only related time stuff is the following code
date_default_timezone_set('Europe/Berlin'); // Lokalzeit
setlocale(LC_TIME, array('de_DE.UTF-8', 'de.UTF-8'));
Yes, and if one call hangs, all the rest is blocked and timing out, too.
We experienced that as well. Definately need some optimization.
Kind of. We reset all network and browser settings and checked the installed Firewall. It helped a bit, so I guess it was a problem with the queueing of requests, blocked by network issues.
The problem is that Gutenberg blocks get encoded, so http:// becomes http:\/\/
And the replace search/function doesn’t support that. I already asked on Github but got no response
You can help and push the issue.
https://github.com/wp-cli/wp-cli/issues/5293
same here
I have to confirm that the latest update is not able to load on my local machine or on the server. all tips from above didnt help.
5.74 changelog still doesn’t include this bug.
Are you guys serious? The addon is not usable with this bug for FF users with the pre-latest version and before.
5.7.4 available but returning “bad request”
5.73 is still not fixing this issue.
Please check this. It’s not a small bug.
Thanks John, only 1 person for the forums is quite some challenge I guess.
Opened a ticket. If we find a solution, I will add it here, so other people know about this issue and possible fix.
Already did all tests. Definately coming from ACF.
And this forum is listed under suport but I will add a ticket if you prefer that 🙂
Latest version that works without interruptions is 5.6.10
Anybody else having problems using the filters?
There is no reaction and the menu still available
Have you ever worked with WordPress and themes?
Every theme got it’s function.php which you need to update.

you can find the tutorial on the official documentation: https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/google-map/
@roflman79 @jaddess
did you try what I did to make it work?
Google Api:
Edit: after activating “Google Maps Geolocation API” and reloading the backend it seems to enable the address field search.
It is fixed now. After struggling two days with the webhosting company they admit that their timezones were not configured correctly. What a pain in the ass.. Thanks for the support. Your hint with the post.php debugging helped finding the time bug.
Thanks for your reply. I opened my own thread because our problem only happens on the production server and it seems to be related with timezones.
