Well it’s not solved so maybe someone should mark it as an issue.
On my client’s site, after the update all the advanced custom fields with images lost their values and I had to roll back.
Has there been a fix released for this? I updated and lost all my images on the front end. I rolled back to a backup I had an it fixed the issue. I did not need to go to version 4 for this and was already on version 5. If there has not been a fix released for this please reopen.
Ok so I solved mine. I checked and there was another sync which had 2 for each fieldset for some reason. I deleted the duplicates and it’s all working fine now. So check your syncs
My issue could be similar, it was working on my local but not after it had been moved by the looks of it.
I have not tried editing the main ones but will give it a go. If I find a fix I will report back because the owner of this plugin doesn’t seem bothered to chime in on this.
Yeah, I am having this issue too with a client website. Been working fine for years but now a price field is not updating.
On saving the page the price field reverts back to what it was and not the new value.
Have you been able to replicate this bug? I have a website I can give you access too if needed.
@elliot Also it is not another plugin causing it because rolling back to 5.2.4 fixes the issue.
– What is the broken plugin?
acf
– What is the problem?
it does not save the post and the spinner just turns.
Were you able to watch the AJAX request to validate the data?
– Did the AJAX request ever return data? If so, what was the data?
there was no network activity so no ajax was being sent.
I will look try and recreate on a mirror of the site if you are still unable to get to the bottom of it.
Don’t close it others have it.
The problem is to recreate it I need to install the broken plugin on a live site.
When you clicked the button it would just spin but not do anything. I checked and no data was being sent back so it was a javascript issue preventing it from updating but was not showing any errors.
I also have this problem with a clients site. What do we need to do get this fixed asap.
