Sorry from me too then, because this morning I thought I was replying to @babelfish99 and then now I was making a reply to you @hube2 but the forum don’t seem to show that it’s a actual reply, it is visible just as a ordninary post.
Thanks for your time anyway. Hope my answer (to use the plugin I linked to above) works for other guys than just me! 🙂
Exactly. WP Migrate DB works great for this. Serialized data is tricky to replace by yourself. 🙂
This thread can be marked as solved if that’s possible.
After I started this thread I also found this plugin (https://sv.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-migrate-db/) that works great!
You can easily replace the current database, or export it and do whatever you want. So far I have not had a single issue with it.
Can highly recommend it! 🙂
This is great! Good work! 🙂 Keep up the good work!
Hi!
I didn’t have to try that way now because I solved the problem by looking through my code once again and I found the damn problem…
When I check for a relationship I used this code:
<?php $widgets = get_sub_field('widgets'); if($widgets && !get_sub_field('full_width')): ?>
<?php foreach( $widgets as $post): ?>
<?php setup_postdata($post); ?>
And when I then checked for the Flexible Content inside this “widget” I used this code:
<?php if( have_rows('widgets') ): ?>
<?php while ( have_rows('widgets') ) : the_row(); ?>
This obviously didn’t work so I figured out that maybe the name of my flexible content “widgets” was conflicting with the relationship get_sub_field(‘widgets’). So I changed name on my Flexible Content field to “widgets_flexible” and it worked…
Thanks anyway!
I’m also looking for a functions like what you describe. It would be so much easier for the customer or user to see what module they are going to include or choose to use.
I don’t think it should be to hard to solve, or what do you guys say? 🙂
I’m having the same error with a repeater field on ordinary page. Problem has come now when I have update my WordPress to 4.1 and Advanced Custom Fields PRO 5.1.7.1.
Edit: I had a conditional tag right above the repeater fields and when I removed this, the repeater started working again. That’s a quick fix but far from good if you really want to use the conditional tag or tab before repeater.
Hi again,
Well, my problem is not that other plugins disable the “save”-function because I just run ACF PRO in this particular site.
On another site I have a popup plugin that can’t save their value because of ACF PRO. So when I disable ACF I can save the plugin for the popup, then I activate ACF PRO so I can use it again.
The whole thing is though very strange.
I solved my problem finally when I checked my php.ini file.
The extension mbstring.so was loaded and that was no necessary.
I also deleted a string in the php.ini like this: mbstring.func_overload = 7
This solved the error coming, and now it works great!
That’s just awesome! Thanks, finally. 🙂
Hi again!
That dosen’t seem to make any diffrence, it just query all posts anyway. What I want is to query the posts that have written something in this field, not just that it contains it, because the field is not a “has to be filled-field”.
So if the field is filled it should query these posts with something in it.
What else should I try to do?
That doesn’t make any diffrence at all. Probably my fault because my code isn’t right, but could you give me a hint on my code down under:
<?php query_posts(array('post_type' => 'referenser', 'posts_per_page' => '2', 'orderby' => 'rand', 'meta_query' => array( array('key' => 'recension', 'compare' => 'exists')))); while ( have_posts() ) : the_post(); ?>
The field I want to check if it’s field is recension. If it’s not filled it should not query these posts.
That code didn’t solve my problem. My options are still visible and I have do hide them for people who aren’t admins. Someone wanna help? All stuff above doesn’t work for me.
