Thanks for the help. What I’ve ended up doing is making a Message field and then inserting that with a bit of styling. Works for now!:) Ha ha.
Thanks again, appreciate your time!
Thanks so much, that is working correctly. Is it possible to place the H2 before the label as opposed to the input field?
Hi there John,
Unfortunately that didn’t work. If I remove the (is_admin) check, it still doesn’t show backend either. I’m a bit stumped at the moment
Hey there James,
Still struggling with this. Is there a way to add the ACF fields to the normal WordPress user registration? (and not BuddyPress)
Hi there James,
Thanks so much for that. It’s definitely made the path a bit clearer. Will look into acf_form() and see if I can get it to work.
Thanks again! 🙂
That worked a treat, thanks so much! 😀
And thanks for pointing out the empty strings issue – don’t ask me why I had that there in the first place…ha ha 🙂
Thanks again, have a great day! 🙂
Also, is it possible to delete a choice if it is empty? ie, if a repeater has:
Phone: XXX XXX XXXX
Cellphone: XXX XXX XXXX
Cellphone:
Email: [email protected]Delete the second cellphone choice when opening the page?
Hey there John,
Let me try explain a bit better:
I have the following field:
Website
and the following two SELECT fields in a repeater:
TYPE: (phone, email, website etc)
VALUE:
When I open the page, I need to check whether the choice “TYPE: Website” exists and has a VALUE. if it does, do nothing. If it doesn’t, update it using the Website field. Otherwise the repeater SELECT field ends up with duplicate website values.
Hope that makes more sense?
Ha! I missed the taxonomy option in the options!!! Thanks so much ha ha, simplifies things a lot!!! 🙂
Update: This stackexchange question is my problem in a nutshell:
No answers yet though.
Thanks so much, that worked a treat! 😀
Thanks so much 🙂
The fields are just being displayed as <?php the_field(‘field_name’); ?>
Is that the correct way to do it? I just can’t get my head around why the content refuses to be seen by Google :/
