Are you using the remove_filter function?
remove_filter ('acf_the_content', 'wpautop');
I have the same problem here!
have you found a solution ?
Hi Elliot , two years is a long time ! Will we see this feature in a future version ? I think there is a great interest in this function ! ๐
Thanks for reply
Hello!?
I try to better explain the problem :
The problem is not that the ACF-Fieldgroup will not load correctly on page load . The problem is that when I change the user role on the profile page , the ACF-fields does not change with via Ajax. And this is especially a problem when the Fieldgroup have Required Fieldsโฆ
Thanks Davelee
Hi @adamb, which builder you have tested?
I tested also several Page Builders. But these have in my opinion the problem, that they use the WPeditor to generate the custom content).
For interest, do you found a Builder that works with Custom fields?
Hi @atomicsmash, you’re really great and I’m massive Impressed!
I think, this can be the “Next Big Thing” for ACF and Elliot.
this is really funny, because I create for a few minutes a Mockup for a alternative UI of the flexible-field ๐
@elliot what do you mean?
1.image : examplefields of ACF
2.image: New UI – standard view
3.image: New UI – hover CF
4.image: New UI – edit CF
Hi @elliot, your tipp
$images = get_field('gallery', false, false);
works only with ACF4. With ACFPro now I get the the full Array from the gallery field.
Do you have a tip for me, how do I get a simplified array with attachment id’s?
Thanks Davelee
For those who have the same problem:
This code works for both versions:
if (function_exists('acf_add_options_sub_page')) {
if( function_exists('acf_add_options_page') ) {
acf_add_options_page(); // necessary for v.5 :-/
}
acf_add_options_sub_page( 'standard' );
acf_add_options_sub_page( 'Wordpress Options' );
acf_add_options_sub_page( 'Settings' );
}
Hi Elliot, there are news for “Conditional Logic using Taxonomy field” ?
Thanks,
Davelee
I found the solution with wp_update_post().
add_action('save_post', 'change_content');
global $post;
global $wpdb;
function change_content($post_id) {
$datefield = get_post_meta($post_id,'acf-event-date',true);
$post_date = date("Y-m-d H:i:s", strtotime($datefield));
$my_post = array();
$my_post['ID'] = $post_id;
$my_post['post_date'] = $post_date;
remove_action('save_post', 'change_content');
wp_update_post( $my_post );
add_action('save_post', 'change_content');
}

Hi Eliot, thanks for the Reply!
Wow, ist so simple ๐
$images = get_field('gallery', false, false);
