My issue turned out to be the code I was using. The current postID available wasn’t the one I expected to be. Adding the expected postID had me up and running.
I think I’m experiencing the same issue.
When using
<div class="video-embed-container">
<?php the_field('featured_video'); ?>
</div>
In a template only the the div gets output, but when editing the post in the admin area, the preview appears as per normal.
Is there an alternative way to embed videos (other than manually pasting the supplied IFRAME)?
Edit: If I paste the youtube link into the regular content editor it works normally. The preview appears in the editor and also normally when viewed on the website.
There was another plugin that was causing this.
Staging site and disabling everything and working through one-by-one did the trick.
Do you by chance have a required date picker field in the repeater?
I was getting the same error so as a workaround had to remove the required setting for it.
It looks like there are number of layout changes to the way tabs get displayed. So far I can see that acf-tab-wrap
and acf-tab-group
are not there any more.
Is there any documentation here that will help us understand the difference of the output and to correct the display on the front-end?
You could use the value and create a CSS class to match it.
So when output:
colourblocks
You could output:
colourblocks yellow
Or to avoid a generic class name something like
colourblocks block—yellow
Hi Samtranum,
That actually makes sense. The default value will appear in the editor but doesn’t actually save along with the post until you save the post.
Any exisiting posts won’t have these values to show. Only posts edited (and saved) after the plugin and field were created will show values.
After looking around the forums more (I have looked at them a lot) I found a similar request at https://support.advancedcustomfields.com/forums/topic/a-single-click-to-remove-all-repeater-rows/
