Remove all repeater rows with a single action. i.e. Clear All

  • Hello,

We currently have a setup with nested repeaters and are looking for a way for the user to clear/remove all repeater rows with a click of a button, instead of having to click the (-) button next to each repeater row.

    An example setup:

    Repeater x1
    –Repeater y1
    —-y1 row 1
    —-y1 row 2
    —-y1 row 3
    Repeater x2
    –Repeater y2
    —-y2 row 1
    —-y2 row 2
    Repeater x3
    –Repeater y3
    —-y3 row 1
    —-y3 row 2
    —-y3 row 3
    —-y3 row 4

We’d like to be able to remove all the y*row rows at once. So that it would leave the following:

    Repeater x1
    –Repeater y1
    Repeater x2
    –Repeater y2
    Repeater x3
    –Repeater y3

Can anyone suggest any methods to achieve this? The number of repeaters and rows vary greatly between posts so it would have to be dynamically applied.

  • After looking around the forums more (I have looked at them a lot) I found a similar request at https://support.advancedcustomfields.com/forums/topic/a-single-click-to-remove-all-repeater-rows/
