That’s not a problem with any plugin but with acf itself. If you add new fields with default values to existing pages acf will not return these default values. Default values are only for set them if you are updating a page in the wordpress admin manually. That is the most annoying problem with acf for me 🙁
That would be perfect and an extremely timesaver for us! Thank you very much!
No, this is just a small part of the import functionality. Here is one of many examples of how to manually sync. There is much more than just call acf_import_field_group()
. But unfortunately it’s 95% copied code from the ACF source and this feels unprofessional for me.
I have the same bug 🙁
Hey, try this:
$id = get_field('linkedto');
if ($id) {
echo '<a href="' . get_permalink($id) . '">';
echo get_the_title($id);
echo '</a>';
}
You are outside of the normal WordPress loop so you have to pass the ID to your get_field function like this:
foreach($myposts as $mypost) {
echo get_field('myfield', $mypost->ID);
}
The problem is that you use checkboxes and not radio buttons. You can choose multiple values with checkboxes, so your selection will be saved in an array. If you just want to select one item you have to use radio buttons. And then the output will be a string instead of an array.
Hey, I’ve released a plugin that can copy your fields to all of your multisite installations with just one click. Take a look at ACF Multisite Sync!

Yes. Please! This would definitely a killerfeature for me!
And btw: There is a bug: I can’t choose a Flexible Content Field inside a Flexible Content Field. That’s right. But I can choose a Flexible Content Field inside a Repeater Field inside a Flexible Content Field. But it doesn’t work and destroys my fields.
