Hi John!
That worked like a charm. They even let you control what to import.
Only downside, you have to either check, or uncheck boxes and you can’t do multiples. My hands sore unchecking 200 boxes, but saved me 8 hours of work and no possibility for human error.
You sir are a gentleman and a scholar! PS for anyone else reading this, backup before you f$uck up.
Thanks!
Yea, what todo with an array when using multi-users … hmm
I just updated and having the same problem as well!
Meeee toooo!
PS I/WE love ACF 🙂 Its what pays our rent!
This works!
<?php
$author = get_field('acf_author');
echo $author = $author['ID'];
?>
Hi Elliot,
I am not trying to display this image, I need this to work with a third party api. Bufferapp.com + WP to Buffer.
It used the stored featured image to attach when broadcasting a post to twitter and facebook. I guess I should have included my full intention 🙂
Hoping to use the
set_post_thumbnail() function
Not sure how possible this would be…
Hi Elliot,
Thanks for seeing this through. We just had a Holiday in Canada, I have been away from my office (bedroom).
I believe you are correct; the meta names were too long. I reduced them and they save correctly!
Cheers,
Hi elliot,
Correct. The repeater / options work fine on there own. I haven’t had the time to setup a unique test bench to re-produce this error.
Sorry for the delayed response, self employed worker bee.
Hi Elliot,
I know what’s happening … the values are not saving… even with a new field.
