Thanks for the thanks, @aaronlutze
If you have any issues with it, feel free to add a bug to the github page!
I’ve been working on similar functionality for my Repeater Tabs plugin, updated today with the working code.
It’s only been tested on my own use-cases, but works so far with Standard and 1-child-deep nested Repeater Fields.
Hover over the tabs to get the “COPY” option.
More details are in the readme.
Hope this helps, maybe even with developing John’s further.

It’s got some stripped down functionality, but I’ve extended the “Block” style repeater with my completely unendorsed plugin:

It’s been really handy for my personal and client work, so might be some help for you guys.
UPDATE: It now has drag & drop!
It’s a massive space saver.
Another little +1 here.
Certainly something I’d be interested in (a lot of our sites use repeaters, and sometimes just a bit too many for the server to load up at one time).
A way to lazy-load the content as you scroll down the page would be fantastic and wouldn’t eat so much resource when loading the back-end to edit, add or remove more fields!
Sorry to beat a paralysed horse here, hopefully it’s something still on the radar.
(Or maybe I can have a bash, too!)
For v4 and below, you’d need to add in:
'field_groups' => array(ACF_POST_NUMBER),
to the ‘acf_form’ array, making sure to check what your ACF post number is and replacing ACF_POST_NUMBER with it.
Eg.
<?php acf_form(array(
'field_groups' => array(5),
'post_id' => 'new',
'submit_value' => 'Neuen Datensatz erstellen'
)); ?>
Not really solved, I’ve just found out what plugin’s causing the issue…
>.>
Yeah, though the changes Rolescoper makes don’t appear to be too visible, sadly.
Hi all,
I’ve double checked the settings, and it’s all exactly the same as before.
The custom post type is set to ‘post’, just like my other sites.
(The actual post types and fields are made up exactly the same as I’m using the same data/layouts).
MID-SENTENCE-UPDATE:
Found the issue, there’s an incompatibility with the plugin “Role Scoper”.
I’m not sure what the nature of the incompatibility would be though as I’m not that great a back-end coder. I’ll see if I can check, though it would be sad if I can’t find a way to utilise both plugins as they’re equally important.

Hi there Elliot,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I think I was a little unclear with my query, forgot a key word!
The Custom Post Types do indeed appear under “Page” which is great, however the Custom Post Type posts, which appear under “posts” in previous sites I’ve created, are not appearing anywhere within the location dropdowns.
They’re all set up the same way as before (and I set up a test on another new site and it seems to be working), so I’m a tad confused as to what may be causing the issue.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
