Me too, but with the “Taxonomy Term” location rule, it just doesn’t save the value.
Thanks for your response I will let you knwo if I solve it.
Hi!
Yes I had, here is my file if you can check it would be awesome.
And this is what I have in my acf_ctp.js
jQuery(function($){
$(document).on('change','#custom_post_template', function(){
console.log(acf.screen);
acf.screen.cpt_template = $(this).val();
$(document).trigger("acf/update_field_groups");
console.log(acf.screen);
});
});
I don’t know what I’m missing. Thanks,
(I tried to attach a php file)
Well I tried what you told me but nothing happens:
jQuery(function($){
$(document).on('change','#custom_post_template', function(){
console.log(acf.screen);
acf.screen.cpt_template = $(this).val();
$(document).trigger("acf/update_field_groups");
console.log(acf.screen);
});
});
As I think acf.screen are the options, in the plugin I have the cpt_template as the “slug”
function acf_location_rules_types( $choices ){
$choices['Post']['cpt_template'] = __('Post Type Template','acf-cpt');
return $choices;
}
Also, I don’t know if I have to include the javascript (above) like you have here:
http://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/tutorials/adding-custom-javascript-jquery-for-fields/
Or in my own script (as I’m doing it now).
Thanks for your help.
Hi!
I’m using the textarea and the file type (default in the plugin). I’m exporting them for my proposes (https://github.com/jepser/The-Royal-Framework), my location and options for the group is:
'location' => array (
array (
array (
'param' => 'options_page',
'operator' => '==',
'value' => 'acf-options-framework',
'order_no' => 0,
'group_no' => 0,
),
),
),
'options' =>
array (
'position' => 'normal',
'layout' => 'no_box',
'hide_on_screen' =>
array (
),
),
'menu_order' => 0,
Then, I used the code in the export section, but change the “key” for these fields.
I didn’t understand ‘format_value_for_api()’ when I wrote “custom” I’m trying to point that isn’t the default save_format.
I want get_field to return:
– in favicon just the URL
– google_code the text without any formatting
