I finally got it working myself!
I’ve printed the JSON result and not returned it from the function, that caused the error.

yep – that’s the same for me, i’m also using WPML 3.1.9.1. Seems to be a conflict.

This solved the issue for me (at the moment), because the client hasn’t translated the content yet.

UPDATE: there was wordpress 4.01 installed – sorry, i updated wordpress to v4.1 and everything is fine now! for me the thread is closed…

@healthfirst: try to update your wordpress installation to the latest version!

Also the same here: with the admin login everything is fine, only one page is not displaying content for another user trying to edit the page.

if i deactivate acf pro, the other user also sees the content.
but it worked fine in the past!

wordpress v. 4.1
acf pro v.5.1.7.1

any suggestions?

I just found the solution. The documentation is a little bit deceptive!

With the already bought options-page plugin, i was able to upgrade to the pro version for free. as i did it, everything works as expected!
