WP 5.0 Causes blank edit page in ACF

Using ACF 5.7.7 (free version) and I just now updated to WP 5.0. It caused my edit
screen in ACF to go blank so I can’t edit or add ACFs.

I did install the Classic Editor (as I understand Gutenburg editor has caused this problem with ACF in the past) but that did not solve the problem .

Any solutions other than rolling back WP to 4.9.8 would be appreciated.

I just now downgraded back to WP version 4.9.8 to get rid of this issue until it’s resolved.

Hi all,

WP 5.0 with Classic Editor 1.0 Installed is causing a WSOD (White Screen of Death) when editing field groups.

To fix: Go to Settings > Writing and then set “Default editor for all users” to “Classic Editor” and “Allow users to switch editors” to “No”.
