Hello,
Since 4.5 came out yesterday I have been having an issue with relationships. Right now I am not able to add any new relationships to posts.
Here is the message I see in firebug.
POST http://colo1.edisonave.net/mcnees/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
200 OK
710ms
jquery….=1.12.3 (line 4)
2
ReferenceError: post_id is not defined
((__t=( id ))==null?”:__t)+
From this code:
var __t,__p=”,__j=Array.prototype.join,print=function(){__p+=__j.call(arguments,”);};
with(obj||{}){
__p+=’http://colo1.edisonave.net/mcnees/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=pte_ajax&pte-action=iframe&pte-id=’+
((__t=( id ))==null?”:__t)+
‘&TB_iframe=true&title=false’;
}
return __p;
Thanks for letting us know about this issue.
I’ve passed it to the plugin author. Hope he can fix it soon.
Thanks!
Can anyone else confirm if this was fixed? I had to downgrade back to 4.4.2 to get it to work again.
Hi @tellstevens and @benget-simple-com
ACF has version 4.4.7 that will fix this issue. Could you guys update it to see if it fixes the issue? Please take a look at this page to learn more about the new version: https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-custom-fields/changelog/.
I hope this helps.
Thank you, James. Has this fix also been applied to ACF Pro? I didn’t see mention of it in the ACF Pro changelog.
I believe this issue affected only the free version. Do you have the same issue with ACF PRO? If you have, could you please try to reproduce the issue on one of the WordPress’ stock themes (like Twenty Fifteen) with other plugins deactivated? If it disappears, then you can activate the theme and plugins one by one to see which one causes the issue.
Thanks!
Thanks for getting back to me. I’ll check and see if the sites where we are seeing this issue are using the free plugins with add-ons rather than Pro. That may be the case.
