I am currently using InstaWP for site development and can see that my one ACFPro activation there has used up my live licence.
This clearly isn’t a live site at all, and I intend to keep all my dev and testing sites on there and then upgrade to more ACF Pro licenses when the sites are ready to be deployed.
As the site’s URL ends in “.instawp.xyz” and is purely for development, can this be added without using a Pro licence?
There was a similar question asked here https://support.advancedcustomfields.com/forums/topic/devel-for-staging-development-sites/
This would be up to the developers. The developers do not visit or monitor this site on a regular bases and this forum is basically just other users answering questions when they can.

Thank you for your message and for clarifying your development setup. We understand that your site hosted on InstaWP is purely for development and testing purposes, and we appreciate the situation you’re describing.
For example, if you’re working on a project like the one for Schloss Guteneck (https://www.schloss-guteneck.de/), where development work is crucial before deployment, our support team will work with you to ensure your workflow runs smoothly.
Given that the URL ends in “.instawp.xyz” and is not a live site, we encourage you to contact our support team directly to discuss the possibility of adding this as a non-live domain. In many cases, we can offer flexibility for development environments, and our team should be able to assist in ensuring your ACF Pro license is properly configured without affecting your live license count.
Feel free to reach out for further clarification, and we’ll be happy to help!
