ACF(Version 5.8.0) validate with required field not working wordpress 5.2

I’ve done some tests and setting a field as required appears to work. You’ll need to be more specific about the field you’re having an issue with. What type of field? Is it a sub field? Details on how to create a field that exhibits the issue?
