  • I’ve no idea why this didn’t work before, but it is working now.

    Thanks John 👍

  • Edit – Fixed, it was my mistake.

  • Thanks John, much appreciated 👍

  • Thanks John,

    Two questions;

    1. Where abouts would this be placed, exactly?
    2. Will this always show the latest/last row? It might not be 3, that was just an example of what should be showing in this instance. There could be 20/30/50 rows.
    3. Thanks

  • Sorry, it’s list.js – https://raw.githubusercontent.com/javve/list.js/v2.3.1/dist/list.js

    I can’t post the entire code here, but the modifier is below and works fine. Like I say, it’s just an issue with negative numbers.

  • Files are uploaded via the file custom field inside a CPT and visible on the front end (see attached). There is no need for them to be seen within the media library.

  • The Google Map field is part of ACF core.

  • UPDATE

    So, using the code below, I can extract the lat/lng from the data and populate two new acf fields.

    function rhm_update_latlon($post_id, $post, $update) {

    	$map = get_post_meta($post_id, 'address', true);

    	if (!empty($map)) {
    	    update_post_meta( $post_id, 'lat', $map['lat'] );
    	    update_post_meta( $post_id, 'lng', $map['lng'] );
    	}

    }
    add_action('save_post', 'rhm_update_latlon', 90, 3);

    Now, how can I use this to create some kind of ‘nearest 3 schools’ query based on the school they are viewing?

  • Edit – I ended up switching the company post type to a taxonomy as it seemed easier.
