For anyone who may run into the same issue, I was able to solve the problem.
I don’t know how the CSS files for Select2 went missing, but I was able to add them back in using the code below in my functions.php file.
add_action( 'admin_enqueue_scripts', 'admin_enqueue_scripts_callback' );
function admin_enqueue_scripts_callback(){
//Add the Select2 CSS file
wp_enqueue_style( 'select2-css', 'https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/[email protected]/dist/css/select2.min.css', array(), '4.1.0-rc.0');
//Add the Select2 JavaScript file
wp_enqueue_script( 'select2-js', 'https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/[email protected]/dist/js/select2.min.js', 'jquery', '4.1.0-rc.0');
}
Can I have this question deleted? The problem was I wasn’t sending the ID I thought I was. My mistake.
Just to clarify, you wrote:
In order for fields to appear and for there to be a location the page must be either post type of a taxonomy.
Did you mean: “the page must be either a post type or a taxonomy?
You are correct, I am trying to get an image in my template for this custom post type. When I don’t filter the data with the above code I receive an array, when I do filter it, I receive an int. Here is the code I use in my template file:
$image = get_field('my_image');
if(!empty($image)) {
if(is_int($image)){
echo'This is a number: '.$image.'<br />';
}
else {
$photo = '<img width="200" src="'.$image['url'].'" alt="'.$image['alt'].'" /><br /><br />';
echo $photo;
}
}
Thanks for your quick reply.
