thanks, i didn’t know that. i’d rather go with Option B (localize script with current post id). This is a test, so the way of submitting the info will change a lot. Could you give me an example of that?
However there’s one more problem. Even if the post id is correct, the $input_test variable falls to ‘Fall Back’ which means $_POST[‘input-test’] reads an empty string instead of the value of the input with the name input-test.

I’m testing how to update a Custom Text Field using an input form as it is shown here, so I have followed these instructions, which are pretty clear.
I don’t get an Error, I get the message ‘Success’ when I hit the update button.
However, the field does not update.
Any ideas on what could be the problem? I’m very new at Ajax so it could be something trivial.
