Going back to at least v4.3.8 conditional fields have never worked on the front end for me. I’ve just run into it again with v5.3.4.
It’s easy to fix without having to touch the core files but can be time consuming if there’s several layers of conditionals along with required fields.
I’ve came up against this before too and it’s still an issue as of v5.3.4
There’s no console errors and i’m able to fix with separate js and no editing of the acf files.
Double check you have accounted for every plugin.
Check this thread on Stackoverflow where I got that code, there’s a few other suggestions
No worries, forgot to say, just add more lines underneath if you have several plugins to suppress
unset( $value->response['/inc/options/another-plugin/another-plugin.php'] );
here’s what i’m using just now rhcarlosweb
function my_filter_plugin_updates( $value ) {
unset( $value->response['/inc/options/fields/acf.php'] );
return $value;
}
add_filter( 'site_transient_update_plugins', 'my_filter_plugin_updates' );
