WordPress automatic updates somehow fails and then ACF is disabled

On my hosting I have turned on that all plugins should always update. Somehow something fails while updating all plugins and then for some reason ACF has been turned off, my site heavily relies on ACF which makes it so that the site seems broken if it is off.

It seems to be happening since a WordPress update in which they had a new feature that you site isn’t down for maintenance while updating plugins, but I can’t really find any news on this.

What could be happening that I’ve plugin auto update turned on and somehow ACF is being disabled?
