I’ve been lurking the database after creating 2 different custom fields and tags using their values, and It seems that it’s saved nowhere.
In wp_posts I found out that it creates a field group, in postmeta it defines the fields themselves, the tags I’ve assigned custom fields to are created in terms and term_taxonomy, with their default values, but I don’t see in any tables custom field values I’ve assigned.
Look in the wp_postmeta table. ACF stores the custom fields in the same way that WordPress would store a custom field. More specifically you’ll a key and value columns. The key is the name of the custom field and the value is the value you entered into the field.
