When should you hook in your plugin before adding fields?

I’m writing a plugin that will add some ACF fields.

However, I will not be including an embedded version of ACF inside the plugin.

When is an appropriate time to hook to add your fields? Right now I’m hooking on plugins_loaded and it seems to work fine. Any additional input?

Hi @snitchhomer

If that works (I’m assuming it does) that should be a good hook.
If you notice any issues try changing it to a later hook like init or wp_loaded.
