Want to add a calendar using custom post, any suggestion on how to best go about this?

Can you please elaborate what you mean by ‘add a calendar’?

ACF does contain a ‘date field’ which allows you to save a ‘date’ value to a post, however, ACF does not create a calendar for you.

Perhaps you would be better off searching for a specific calendar plugin for WP.
