Version 5?

I’ve found documentation referring to ACF version 5 but cannot find this plugin version anywhere!

Has it been removed?

I think version 5 is ACF PRO, only at this point.

Yes, to get version 5 you need to purchase a Pro license. I think that the developer plans to eventually a free version of 5 to the WP repo, at least that was a plan in the past. I don’t know where that stands and I haven’t heard anything about it recently.
