I installed the plugin again from the previous version 5.0.4.
at the beginning I did not notice the problem, then suddenly I found an anomaly.
in a custom post custom field with a wide range of group
the goal box, and even some commands such as permalinks, do not open any more.
it took me a while ‘to understand that it was the new update.
This page has several errors in the code jquery.
Particularly in jquery ajax called from wp admin.
I have not been there to check the details mistakes, I am publishing the site and now this problem I was messing with my life.
Perhaps the problem lies in the field dedicated to the custom category, or perhaps the reports …

All metaboxes broken due to JS error
Same issue here, although I only got the problem when using the taxonomy-field.
The WYSIWIG, checkboxes, radiobuttons,.. al worked as expected.
The JS problem was located in the input.js file.
I can confirm there is something up between 5.0.4. and 5.0.5. Possibly related to commit 55a9304. With 5.0.5 installed the regular Tags will not allow any to be added nor selected from the most used. Likewise, any field of type taxonomy that uses multi_select for its type will just spin indefinitely without retrieving the taxonomy terms.

This raises a good question – I would like to downgrade to 5.0.4 temporarily, but I can’t find a release archive. Does anyone know where to find previous versions of the plugin?

Sorry for the JS errors in 5.0.5
I believe the issues were due to the taxonomy field JS, and have since been fixed.
Can you please re-download the ACF PRO plugin from your store account and reload the page?

I’ve downloaded the new ACF Pro package from my account and installed it on the site I previously had problems with.
It’s working fine now. Only tested with the taxonomy field, field type “radio buttons”
I just downloaded the latest, and I am confirming that while the tabs now work, the single select taxonomy field fails to load.
I am experiencing this issue as well with the taxonomy field single select. Seems like it receives an empty response from the server resulting in a js-error.
boh … expect some developers tell us something.
I’ve gone to my account and downloaded the latest and I am still having this issue. Can someone please link me to 5.04 so I can fix the site before my client explodes? 🙂
