Using Last Post As New Post's Placeholders

  • I’m looking for a solution for a clients website. Sports stats related site. Client submits stats about team before game to 1st post. After game they enter the results again on 1st post. Then when creating a new (2nd) post the placeholders and/or the default values of fields should be pulled from the 1st post.

    Anyone seen a solution for this recently?
