Using Jetpack Lazy Load on an ACF image field

Hi
I’m trying to optimize my site right now by utilizing jetpack’s Lazy Load functionality. Based on this thread over on the Jetpack forums, it doesn’t seem like images loaded through ACF image fields are detected for lazy loading by default.

Has anyone managed to structure the PHP for their image fields in such a way that Jetpack sees them for lazy loading purposes?

Lazy loading is now built into WP. https://make.wordpress.org/core/2020/01/29/lazy-loading-images-in-wordpress-core/, all that is required is to add the attribute to the image tag <img src="image.png" loading="lazy" />
