Update post meta after creating a new custom field (ie: true/false checkboxes)

I have created a new custom field true or false checkboxes with and set it as checked for default value. Since post already in the database don’t have the new meta query of this custom field, is there a way to update all post at once with the new custom field setting saved in those ?

You can make use of the update_field() function to update the post meta by passing the field’s key.
