Trouble Calling acf_form() with AJAX in ACF 4

I’m having an issue with certain fields working when I call acf_form() via AJAX. Relation fields and Datepicker aren’t working properly – I assume it’s an issue with JS Event Listeners not being properly initiated.

I’ve tried implementing the solution presented in this thread, but it does not seem to work: http://support.advancedcustomfields.com/forums/topic/using-acf-form-in-ajax-call/

Can someone tell me if acf.do_action('append', $('#popup-id')); exists in ACF 4? If not, is there a workaround?
