trigger wordpress edit link window from inside meta box editor

Does anyone know why the wordpress nice “edit link” window with the option of selecting page and add target etc etc cannot be triggered when using a wysiwyg inside a custom field?
it only opens the regular edit link popup.
anyone knows how to enable this “edit link” window inside a custom field box?

Hi @hamergil

Your screenshot shows the normal WP link window.
Can you post a screenshot of the ‘other’ type you are experiencing?

I figured what was the problem:
I am using wordpress in hebrew and this is what happens when I click on the link button (see attached)

when I change the wp-config.php language parameter back to English it shows the wordpress link box like the one attached above.
any clue why it is happening in wp Hebrew?

This must be a limitation with eh WYSIWYG javascript.
