Translation shorttags appearing in Field labels and descriptions

Inherited a site to support that makes use of ACF and QTranslate-X. Also making use of acf-translate.

I’ve just created a new custom field group and all the labels and descriptions for the fields within are outputting the language shorttags with the labels.

How do I prevent this? Screengrab to illustrate the issue:

ACF Pro 5.3.10
ACF Qtranslate 1.7.9.1
qtranslate-X 3.4.6.8
Wordpress 4.5.3

Hi @mskeet

Does it happen with only ACF and qTranslate X? I’ve just tested ACF and qTranslate X with one of the WordPress’ stock theme, but I couldn’t reproduce the issue. Could you please try to reproduce the issue on one of the WordPress’ stock themes (like Twenty Sixteen) with other plugins deactivated? If it disappears, then you can activate the theme and plugins one by one to see which one causes the issue.
