I’m trying to modify the “Thank you. We will contact you soon” message to something else, well… I didn’t find it and I cannot figure it out. Is this embedded inside of *.php file?

It really depends on how your developer set it. If it was set using ACF or in the page content, then you should be able to modify it from the backend. But if it was set in the template files, then you need to modify the files.
The only way to find it is to contact your developer.
