Taxonomies not showing up in Post Object

So I have a repeater and inside that is a group and inside that is a post object, which is set to page and all taxonomies by default.
However when using the field, only pages show up to select from but no taxonomies.

Am I missing something here?
It worked fine with just the link field however I needed to change it to a post object as I needed to dynamically get the page and taxonomy titles. But I need it to just select from pages and taxonomies. Have all posts is too much to filter through

Selecting taxonomies only filters the post results, it does not allow you to select terms.
