Sort the values displayed in dropdown on edit screen of flexible content

hi,
I have a post type “curriculum” that has a custom flexible content field. The sub field refers to a post type object and maps to another post type called “video”. Now when in the edit screen or new screen of curriculum I see that videos are displayed in the drop down sorted alphabetically. I want to sort videos displayed in the drop down on the edit screen of curriculum by publish date descending. Please let me know if there is any plugin to do that or how can acheived.
