Setting field label with diacritical letters

When setting field label in diacritical letters (specifically Croatian letters š,č,ć,đ,ž), the letters won’t change to their utf-8 counterparts (s,c,c,d,z) in field name.
I am not sure if it could create some problems later on, I manually edit those letters but I am just letting you know.
