Select field: when default value is a number

I’m on the latest version (5.1.3) and have noticed a bug with the select field. This occurs when you set a number as the default value (ex: 50) instead of a text/string. For some reason the default value is not saved/set when it’s a number..

(Note: this does not occur when using the radio button field instead of the select field, even though they share similar characteristics)

A quick update on that this bug still exist in the latest version (5.1.5).
Still hoping that this will get fixed.. ..or should I start considering other solutions to get around the problem? Anyone?

Just an update to say that this ‘bug’ is fixed in the latest version.
