Select Add Function

Assume that I have two different post types, People and Companies.

In adding a new person, the user can select the person’s employer (company name) from a select list. However, if the company name does not yet exist as a Company post type, the user can add the new company name in the select-field.

Is this possible with ACF? Can you provide guidance or direction on the details to facilitate this functionality?
