I have read many posts and forum on trying to get my WordPress site to be able to search the content inside my repeater field.
I understand that the problem lies in the fact they are sub-fields, so no matter what search plugin (and I’ve tried them all) you use they won’t be indexed?
Anyway, I am not a developer (I have enough knowledge to use ACF and basic WP php) and in plain English, can someone tell me…
Is there a way to make WP search content in the repeater field? And if so, how?
I have built a whole site based on what I thought was a great feature, but it’s useless if it can’t be searched.

Yes you can search based on a repeater field, but that depends on exactly how you want to search these fields.
If you just trying to see if a post has a value in a repeater, yes you can. http://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/querying-the-database-for-repeater-sub-field-values/
If you need to find posts where you are looking for values multiple values in the same row that match you aren’t going to be able to do that easily, if at all.
