return format date picker problem

Hello fellow acf users,

I have set the return format of the date picker to F, Y. I am using the search & filter plugin and it displays it in the filter form as (20230303).

Even if I set the display and return format to F, Y, it still doesn’t work. Does anyone know how i can solve this?

ACF stores date field in the format of “Ymd” and this does not change based on the return format. The return format is only used by ACF when the value is retrieved using an ACF function.

The plugin you are using is getting the values from the database and bypassing ACF’s formatting of the value.
