Required fields: Publish Button deactivated

Hi,

Found a critical issue with WordPress 3.9 and ACF 4.3.7.

I’ve defined a required text field with the required flag.

If I add a page and leave the field empty a warning appears, that the field is required and the Publish Button is deactivated.
But after filling out the required field, the Publish button is still deactivated and I can’t post my changes.

I think this bug is critical. The only way to post is to reload the form and fill out all required fields before the first click on publish.

I can confirm this bug, using WordPress 3.9 and ACF 4.3.8 — if there is a required field that you forget to fill out the Publish button is deactivated.

Will check out Matthew’s workaround now, thanks Matthew.
