Required fields not being enforced

Hello,

I am running into an issue where ACF does not enforce required fields in the WP Admin. We have a post type with required fields however a user can still create a new post or save an existing post without the required fields filled out.

Any thoughts?

If you using the new block editor (gooberberg) then it is a know issue.

This still appears to be an issue nearly two years later.
