Repo Github for ACF Pro

  • Hello elliot,
i’m very happy you offer ACF Pro developper licence for old users who subscribed and paid addons, it’s a real gift and i want to thank you a lot for all your works.

I know you spend a lot of time to resolve issues on ACF5 Beta github repo and everytimes you found a solution.

To continue to help you to improve your plugin, are you going to put special github repo like this ?

    https://github.com/AdvancedCustomFields/acf5-beta

If we can continue to help us with github, i would be very glad.

  • Hi @sireneweb

Yes, your help has been amazing, and so has the other beta testers!
I’ve moved the beta to a private repo here: https://github.com/AdvancedCustomFields/acf-pro/

I think you should have access to it as usual because you are a beta tester, but I’m not 100% sure.

Can you let me know if you can access the github repo?

  • yep, i have acces 🙂 it’s ok for me

  • Hi Elliot,

thanks for your great work! Should I buy the ACF developer license to access your now private repository? If I click on “Account” I only get the error message “Sorry, this page was not found…” 🙁
Can’t remember if I used a different account for buying acf in the past.

    Thanks in advance,
    o1y

  • Hi @o1y

Sorry about the incorrect link. Please login here:
    http://www.advancedcustomfields.com/my-account

  • Ah was wondering why I couldn’t access the repo anymore, is there any way you can add me so I can continue test compatibility of plugins?

    Github username is “tripflex”

    Thanks!!

  • Hi Elliot,

thanks for the new link, unfortunately I cannot find a way to access the repo from there. So please, can you also add my github “o1y” to your private repo.

    Thanks! 🙂

  • @Elliot Condon thanks, as you can see with Pods and OwnCloud I try to contribute as much as possible so any bugs or issues I find (or make a patch for) with core or plugins I will be sure to pass along through GitHub. Thanks again!

  • @Elliot Condon could I also get access to the repo for ACF pro? Would be nice if I can include it as submodule for our projects 🙂

  • Hi,

    @elliot
I stumbled upon this forum thread in search of a Composer or Git version of ACF Pro. Currently, I’m managing a private manually synced Git repository of ACF Pro that I use as a Git submodule.

For my next project, I’m leaning on using a Composer package-defined repository, as per this Gist.

I was wondering if its possible to be added to this private repository. I like to use edge-versions of WordPress and plugins while a site is in development and due for launch after said packages are golden.

    My GitHub username is “mcaskill”.

    Thanks
