I have a repeater with a required field inside of it.
When adding a new row, without filling in the required field, it still is saving the page.
Is this a bug?
Are you using googerbug the block editor? Required fields allowing no value is a known issue with the block editor.

I was indeed using the block-layout. Changing this to “row” or “table” is not helping.
So to clarify it:
Field: repeater – table/row/block layout (doesn’t matter)
Repeater field: image – required
I was talking about the Gutenberg Block Editor, not the layout of the repeater. There is an issue with all required fields when using the new WP editor. The developer is working on this issue and working with the WP devs on a solution, which they are not being very helpful with the last time I checked.
