Repeater Field Layout Switches to Table Automatically after 34 Fields

We have a Repeater field that currently has 34 fields in it. Once we add a 35th, the Layout automatically switches to Table instead of Row. Once we remove the 35th field, we are allowed to switch the Layout back to Row. Is his a server setting issue on our end or is this behavior expected within ACF? Thanks for your help.

Just got this resolved. Had to increase the php setting for max_input_vars from 1000 to 2000.
