Repeater field in user profile

Hi

I´m using ACF and repeater field add-on to store additional information about users. I want to use them to populate author.php with information stored with ACF and repeater fields.

I usually use get_field(‘fieldname’) to get the data stored within posts, but when I do this in author.php it returns false. I had to use get_the_author_meta(‘field’) to get results. This only worked as long as the field type is text. When trying to use the same function for objects like images and repeater fields, it returns a string – not an array as I would expect. How can access objects made with ACF in user profiles?
