We have: row, table and block layouts. Sometimes we don’t need a full row, but more compact layout. So I request for a column layout (each row of a repeater is a <td> element).
I know the limitations: it will not work well in case of multiple repeater rows. But sometimes we create repeaters with rows limit.
Example use case:
Creating page layouts with fixed number of columns: for example 2, 3, 4 columns. In this case column layout fits perfectly.
I don’t know what the chances are but I’ll mark this thread for the developer to take a look at when he has time. It seems like a bit of an edge case.
I almost never use table layouts for repeaters as it is because the have a tendency to break on narrow screens and they cause issues with tab fields.
