Relationships: specifying attachment types

Hello, is it possible to create a custom field of type Relationship and post type Attachment that shows only a certain media type. For instance, I would like to associate only videos in the media library with certain posts. I have thousands of assets in the media library (all sorts of types– images, files, videos) and going through them is very tedious, even with search.
