I am still struggling with my band’s gig calendar. I have two custom post types, one is events, the other is locations. In the locations CPT there is a custom field name is_active.
Is it possible to show a relation between an event and a location that is currently active? In other words: Could I get a custom selcet field in my Events post type, containing only the locations, whose is_active fields value is ‘yes’?

it is may possible:
with the help of (one) additional taxonomy instead of a normal field and some kind of relationship field like: Post Object (with multiple no)
