read-more-tag for flexible content

    Hey,

I wonder if there is something like the read-more-tag for content that was created with the flexible content plugin. I don’t want entire posts being displayed on the homepage of my website, as they might become very long.

I tried using the regular read-more-tag from wordpress, but it messed up the whole page.

Is there another way to it with flexible content?

    Cheers

    Hi @coerv

A good question. I just found a similar thread over here:

    http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/50331/advanced-custom-fields-wysiwyg-more-tag

You can see that the answer involves getting the value, and applying an excerpt filter to it.

You should be able to use this same code, but obviously change get_field to get_sub_field to find the WYSIWYG value.

    Does this help?

    Thanks
    E
